Objectives of the Project
The promotion and internationalization plan of the Competence Regional Centres on the Asian markets of China and india aims at facilitating the transfer of technologies and the scientific research of the specific activities, in order to foster a successful penetration of the international sectorial markets.
The internationalization activities will be carried out in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, the Tran Asian Chamber (India) and the Indian Italian Chamber.

The operational steps
The operational steps of the project are:

  • Knowledge of the target market through a training and information process based on thematic meetings with experts, economists, experts of law andrepresentatives of foreign institutions and of the specialized funding bodies (for example the Institute for Trade Abroad ICE, the World Bank, etc.)
  • Drawing up of a feasibility study in which the main potentialities of target markets areanalyzed and the potential interlocutors for each CompetenceCentre are selected.
  • Putting in contact the competence centres with the interlocutors of target countries, for an exchange of information on the scientific subjects dealt with by the Competence Centres.
  • Drawing up of a structured marketing plan.
  • Organization of training-information workshops on the markets India–China, focused on the learning of the financial-juridical-administration aspects of the target areas.  The meetings, addressed to the representatives of the Competence Centres in Campania, will avail themselves of experts in the scientific-technological sector, known at an international level. The speakers, representing embassies and international financial institutes, will concentrate their interventions on subjects aiming at providing to the Regional Competence Centres a complete picture of the characteristics and peculiarities of the markets India-China.
  • Promotion activities in Indian and Chinese newspapers. Such action willbe possible thanks to the organization of an incoming addressed to correspondents of the most important Indian and Chinese newspapers. The aim of this is to lmake the project be known to foreign journalists, then activating a constant dialogue with the press of those two territories.
  • Planning of a collective mission to india according to a series of meetings one to one organized on the occasion of an Italian party which will be held in Mumbai in the month of November 2008.
  • Planning of individual missions to China.
  • Promotion of the activities and specific actions of the regional Competence Centres, together with the production of promotion material of the Centres (brochures-dvd).

The Actions and Instruments
The project will be developed according to the following actions and instruments:

  • Organization of a collective mission in India.
  • organization of a mission to China for each regional Competence Centre with single meetings with the concerned parties (institutions, research bodies, universities, enterprises, etc.)
  • Preparation for each Centre, of paper and video communication material.
  • Press office supporting the actions of the project.
  • Implementation of a web portal which will support the actions carried out within the project for the whole duration of them, containing information of a scientific, legal, and commercial kind, besides contents of a multimedia kind, such as photos, and audiovisuals.
  • Special sections on satellite Tv and on web Tv .
  • a newsletter devoted to the project.
  • Interventions on the newsletters of the Chinese and Indian partner Chambers of Commerce.
  • Final ceremony of presentation of the results of the project.
